Smoking On Royal Caribbean In 2023

Alright lets go over everything you’ll need to know before you start smoking or vaping on board of Royal Caribbean.

Smoking Area

Smoking are will be marked on the ship so its clear to see and will mostly be in open air areas. From the photo you can see below, this is on Deck 5 on Quantum Of The Seas – right above guest services. However one catch is for the cabins with a balcony above this Port side of the ship in the mid section – you’ll likely have the chance of smelling smoke at lower levels.

It’s important to be considerate of other people around you – people often still travel though smoking area, always try ash your cigarettes into the trays and blow the smoke away from other people. Smoking outside of the smoking area is strictly prohibited. Smoking on Balcony’s is also prohibited – Vaping counts as smoking.

Can You Bring A Vape On A Cruise Ship

Short answer is Yes – as we’ve gone over it before Here on what you can and CANT bring on a cruise E-cigarettes/vapes are allowed. However can only be used in designated smoking areas. Such as seen in the image below. It’s important to be mindful and respectful as not everyone enjoys the smells and taste of smoking or vaping.

Where can I avoid smokers

With their being 2 main smoking areas, in terms of cabin choice I’d say port side is you best bet – staying away from mid ship on a high floor. With that being said smoke rises so it shouldn’t be an issues – port side cabins with balcony should be smoke free. Using starboard side be aware of the smokers designated area on deck 5, as smoke does rise and there are balcony above, the smoking area is in front of the balcony’s meaning there a better chance of smoke coming into your room.
