Especially with some of them costing eye-watering amounts, so let’s talk about what package you will want to look at. Think to yourself, what type of holiday or vacation is this for you – do you want to sit back relax, and not worry about spending a cent when on board? Do you drink alcohol? do you want to do a lot of the premium dining options? With this in mind, we’ll get started with the first one

Deluxe Drink Package

The Deluxe Drinks Package better known as the Deluxe Beverage Package, is truly one of the best packages Royal Caribbean has to offer – at the right price. Here at ExploreUncharted, we love cruising on a budget and keeping the expenses low, so let’s talk about how we can. I personally enjoy a few alcoholic drinks, and not having to worry about paying for anything once I step on board, I’d rather have everything pre-paid – so the Deluxe Drink Package, is a great option for me and many others like me.

Making your money’s worth on this package adds up very quickly, often at $70 USD (106 AUD) by the time you have a coffee or two in the morning, a few soft drinks, a milkshake, and juice you’d be coming up close to making your money worth by halfway through the day. Once it comes around to be somewhat acceptable to start drinking, you’ll very quickly realize you can go up to any bar and ask the bartender to surprise – try new drinks, try things you wouldn’t ever try. Best part if you don’t like it – don’t drink it. Order another one. I’ve saved more than I could imagine – so much so that on every cruise I’ve taken – I’ve gotten the Deluxe Drinks Package. The Key

The key for those who don’t know is like a taste of VIP we’ll link you to our in-depth guide and review on The Key, but we’ll run over a few of the main things this covers – you might be thinking how can this possibly save me money? I don’t blame you for thinking that – I think it’s important we cover what this includes first. With this amazing package, The Key includes internet with this package, early boarding, the complementary signature key lunch on boarding day, priority tendering, and private time on activities (such as Northstar, bumper cars, flow rider, and many more) there so many more amazing benefits to the key but this is enough to give you an idea. Sometimes (not always) but The Key is actually cheaper than the Voom Internet wifi package, (The key includes the internet) so at this point it becomes a no-brainer – however there is a slight catch. Unfortunately, everyone in the cabin must purchase this package. That being said this can still be an absolute steal of a package, always keep your eye out for this little trick.

Unlimited Dining Package

This one might be a great saver for those foodies out there – Royal does have an absolutely exceptional range of completely free dining options that feature high-quality food, that tastes truly really good. However, the premium dining options are really an out-of-this-world experience, from Jamie Oliver’s own restaurant on board to chops grill – depending on the ship you are on you’ll have high-quality dining options to keep your mouth watering at every end of the ship. The premium dining restaurants can come with a decent hefty price tag – although one that I’m happy to pay over and over again – oftentimes times I’ll go back again and again to Jamies which can cost upwards of over $100 USD each time. If you truly want to explore your taste buds then this is the perfect option for you!
